Owners Christopher "Church" Oppenheim and Kristina Oppenheim met in Los Angeles while both were rebuilding their lives in recovery. Together, they built a successful tattoo studio, earning a reputation for exceptional artistry and a loyal client base from around the world.
Coming Home
After years in California, they made the decision to return home to Maryland. They started with a private studio, focusing on a personalized experience for every client. As their clientele continued to grow, so did their vision. That vision became Prodigal Son Studios.
The Name
The name holds a deeply personal meaning. Christopher originally left Maryland to begin a new life in recovery. Years later, after rebuilding his life and career, he returned home stronger than ever.
